It’s been a minute…but enjoy the video!
I never want to take for granted the opportunities God has given me. This seat is not just another gig, but an opportunity to help lead in worship. Only my family and a certain few know the amount of prep that happens before Sunday mornings. I am thankful for their patience and encouragement. It has been a long journey and there is still plenty to learn. My prayer and hope is that these videos help others. Maybe it’s the behind the curtain look that I don’t have it all together and work hard to sculpt my craft as a drummer, maybe that’s encouraging to others that might be in the stage of the journey. Keep Worshiping and God Bless!
These songs, for this season, so good!!
I love what I get to do!!
As of late, I have been trying to have more worshipful experiences behind the drum set. I am opening my heart more to worship and being authentic in my playing. I want to overcome my own insecurities and allow the Holy Spirit to guide my hands and feet. I was asked about the frequency of the videos, and while I love making them, I think I am putting undue stress on myself to perform for the cameras. That has never been the intent of these videos. I need to check my heart sometimes and listen to the checks in my spirit. So, if I feel the Holy Spirit dealing with me on a pride issue I don’t film on that Sunday. It is a growing process for me as a person and a drummer. My goal has always been to bring God glory through these videos and to show a closer look from a drummer’s perspective on worship. As always, thank you for the support!
This is not the cleanest drumming however, it was a great service! I am blessed to make music with some incredible people. Hopefully, this can be a reminder we worship a great God that has not been shaken by the events of the world.
After a four-month break, it was awesome to be back behind the drum set. Even with the social distancing and smaller crowds, it was still awesome to see people worship and be able to provide for them the opportunity to do so. I don’t know even if words can do justice to the emotions and feelings of being back with great musicians playing music again.
Revival starts with the individual first, but here are a few things to think about. 1.) How’s my/your hunger level? Are we willing to go after Jesus? Are we willing to walk through the crowds just to touch His cloak believing it could heal us? 2.) How is my/your obedience level? Are we willing to do whatever Jesus asks of us? 3.) Do I/you have preserving faith? When things get hard do I give up, or am I willing to endure? Am I/you willing to keep praying even if my/your prayers aren’t answered the first time?
Sundays are really the best day of the week!
As some would say, “we had church!”
I am thankful for the opportunity!

Not everything goes as planned…but it was still a great Sunday!!
Video after video I am curious who actually watches these things? The good thing about YouTube is they keep count!! HA! On average at least 100 people watch…I hope they are encouraged!
Sometimes trying to communicate my thoughts and feelings best happens behind the drums. I tried to put them in words, but I don’t think what I was saying came across the way it was in my mind. However, here is this week’s video. Hope you enjoy. God Bless and Keep Worshiping!!
